Anti-Discrimination & Community Standards Policy

Effective Date: June 29, 2026

1. Core Principle

Menteeo is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful professional community. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or any behavior that violates the dignity and rights of our members.

2. Prohibited Conduct

Members are prohibited from:

• Discriminating based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status
• Harassing, bullying, or threatening other members
• Using slurs, hate speech, or derogatory language
• Unwanted sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, or sexual harassment
• Creating a hostile, abusive, or intimidating environment
• Doxxing, sharing private information without consent, or coordinated harassment
• Spreading false or defamatory information about members
• Any form of discrimination in mentorship, session booking, or networking activities

3. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation, report it immediately to support@menteeo.app with:

• Details of the incident
• Names of individuals involved
• Screenshots, messages, or other evidence
• Date and time of occurrence

All reports are treated confidentially and investigated promptly. We do not tolerate retaliation against those who report violations in good faith.

4. Consequences of Violations

Menteeo enforces a tiered response system:

• First Offense (Minor): Warning and mandatory anti-discrimination training
• Second Offense (Moderate): Temporary suspension (1–7 days) and coaching
• Third Offense or Severe Violation: Permanent account suspension and ban from the platform

Severe violations (hate speech, sexual harassment, threats) may result in immediate permanent suspension, regardless of prior conduct.

5. Appeal Process

Members who believe they were suspended or banned in error may appeal within 14 days by emailing appeals@menteeo.app with supporting documentation. Appeals are reviewed by our moderation team within 5 business days.

6. Platform Moderation

Our team actively monitors public content and member behavior. We leverage automated tools to detect and flag potential violations for human review. Suspicious accounts may be temporarily restricted pending investigation.

7. Mentor & Mentee Responsibility

Mentors and mentees are expected to model respectful behavior in all interactions. Mentors who discriminate against mentees or mentees who harass mentors violate this policy and face immediate suspension.

8. Changes to This Policy

Menteeo reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
